Welcome to Melbourne Gun Works (MGW), Australia’s newest and foremost retail gun shop.

MGW is a family owned and operated business, where shooting and hunting is a big part of our lives. We established our shop in 2016, however, the principles and staff and are no strangers to the retail firearm business. With over 30 years in the industry, the principles started as wholesalers in 1985 and in 2011 established our first retail store. 

We pride ourselves on offering the best service in the county. When you visit our store many of you will recognize our friendly staff. They are very informative and always willing to answer any questions or to assist in any way, which is why many of our customers are loyal and keep coming back. In addition to our unbeatable service, we also try to remain competitive. Please never hesitate to ask about price matching any advertised price, from any of our competitors.

We are also distinguished by our ability to source the newest and most innovative products from Europe and the USA. We have an office based in Texas USA and have monthly shipments of new products and a selection of hard to find used guns.
